LET’S BUILD OUR OWN KRISHNA TEMPLE
His Divine A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada blessed the world by propagating Lord Caitanya’s mission of spreading Krishna Consciousness to every town and village. In 1971, as part of that mission, Srila Prabhupada personally instructed his disciple Sankarshan Das Adhikari, current initiating spiritual master in ISKCON, to make the ISKCON Austin, Texas center a grand success.
Austin, which has since grown into the 10th largest city in the United States, now stands on the cusp of revolutionary spiritual change. We are on the verge of building our very own Krishna temple – a beautiful spiritual oasis that will enlighten the city, and the world, for decades to come.
To make that dream a reality, we are humbly requesting your help. The project requires $5M in funding, $3M of which has already been raised. We need your assistance to raise the final $2M. We invite you to join us on this transcendental journey and to reap the eternal spiritual benefits.

(For our United States Donors : We are a registered 501(c)(3) non profit organization and all donations are fully tax deductible)
New Temple Gallery
When fully constructed, the beautiful new temple campus will feature :
- A grand main hall capable of accommodating 300 devotees
- A place of residence for Brahmacharis and visiting disciples
- A beautiful garden in which to walk, chant, eat prasadam, and read scripture
SEIZE THIS OPPORTUNITY
Having the opportunity to assist with the building of a Krishna temple is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The scriptures teach us of the wonderful spiritual benefit of assisting in temple construction.
“One who offers the Deity gifts of land, markets, cities and villages so that the regular daily worship and special festivals of the Deity may go on continually will achieve opulence equal to My own.”
Srimad Bhagavatam 11.27.51
In the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna instructs to make all charitable offerings to Him.
“Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform – do that, O son of Kuntī, as an offering to Me.”
Bhagavad Gita 9.27
Let’s work together to further the Krishna Consciousness movement and to deliver ourselves, and the world from so much anxiety and suffering.

Current Project Status
By the Mercy of Lord Krishna, things are progressing quickly on this most auspicious project. Over the past 12 months we have found a wonderful 2.5 acre property in the heart of Austin, have assembled our team of engineers and architects, and are working on the final stages of temple design. We hope to begin construction in 12 months and to be ready for the public in Q1 2024.
